We have this nanny too -- the thing is, sometimes one or other of the things just gets pushed to the back burner. So, if your kid is having a bad day or fell or whatever, then maybe the nanny doesn't get to clean or make dinner, or if dinner is a big deal for some reason, the kid ends up with more screen time or independent play than you would otherwise want. So, its fine as long as you pay well and negotiate for everything, but remember that it's just one person so sometimes things get screwed up - just like when you do it on the weekend.

My kids are older now though and we still have the same nanny from when they are babies and my nanny can do so much more now that my kids are in school and it's less of a balancing, but it was crazy at the beginning.

Between 8-and when kid gets home (neighbor drives kid home with their kid) my sister cleans, meal preps, and does laundry. If the kids are sick or don't have school, she pretty much does what she can around nannying. She's paid well and has been with this family for 3 years so they are doing something right.

Lucky family to find and able to afford your sister.

They are. There is a lot of respect both ways and I think that has a lot to do with why their situation works so well.
