I am a nanny and have heard horror stories from other nannies, they worked 50 or 55 hours, no over pay, boss came late, they had to clean home and cook and do laundry for the whole family, so it depends if you hire a nice intelligent sensible nanny she can be great deal for you, always have good communication with your nanny, about coming on time and what you expect from her, I think a happy nanny works better, you hear nannies that hate their job its sad, the child is the one who suffers, happy nanny happy child and boss

Not all parents pay the over time, you have a great heart most of my friend nannies work very long days and they dont get paid over time!!
