I'm a nanny and you are in the wrong. That child is NOT YOURS. You have no right to post pictures of your charge on social media. You are crossing a line and breaking the law. I hope you get slapped with a lawsuit and charges.
The fact that you see nothing wrong is worse. How old are you? You clearly aren't responsible enough to care for a child.
These nannies who do this envision themselves to be family members some even call themselves the "third or extra parent" they believe this so in their viewpoint they are doing nothing wrong it isnt any different from an aunt , grandma, or daddy posting a picture.
You know why, don't you?
No I do not know why. I have been a full-time nanny for many years loved all the kiddos I have cared for, and I'm close to the families never have I thought of myself as a parent or thought it would be ok to post pictures of the kids.
Now I don't think all of these nannies mean harm I think some of them just lose sight of things they get caught up in wanting to show off want they do during the day and before you know things get posted that shouldn't be.
If you think of the word "parenting," that might help.
How would you define that word?

If more people report it Facebook will have to take action against the pictures.
I agree. Mention their names here, and that'll be the end of the problem. I bet you anything, they're afraid of OP now.

I don't want to out myself by name, and I think saying which groups removed me (after I explained to them why I reported specific photos) might do that inadvertently - I'm pretty sure the mods read here. I will say it was two of the largest nanny groups on FB, though.
Well, INA to the rescue, PLEASE. Please demand that your members refrain from online nude postings of their charges. In fact, nannies should have written consent of the parents before posting ANY online photographs of their charges.
Where are all those lawyers and agency owners on the INA board?
I can't believe they haven't already addressed this issue with their members.
