Even though I follow a very different attitude than most nannies on here, I agree with OP. No matter it was rain, snow or sunshine, MB wrote in her contract that days where the school will be closed, she has off. MB needs to honor that commitment.

Perhaps we should all move to Chicago and learn to drive in the snow.
If it snows where you live than you should absolutely learn how to drive in it for your own safety and the safety of others. There are actual courses that teach you how to drive in bad weather.
