I haven't had a check up since I was around 5. Adults really don't need yearly check ups. I haven't even had a dr since childhood. If I get sick I go to an urgent care or a minute clinic. That way I don't have to take time off. I can get all my shots at Walgreens.
Again, not smart. Ever hear of a Pap Smear? Or see a gynecologist since you've been five years old? You've never had a physical and had blood work done (cholesterol, glucose, etc.)? While yes you don't need to do these things yearly, I would think that you've would have done it at least one time since you've been five
Not to mention that it's actually better to see a primary care physician who gets to know you and your health history rather than bouncing around to minute clinics and urgent care centers. That's how things are easier to catch and diagnose early when it's easier to treat them. I'm not knocking those places because they certainly are convenient but shouldn't be where you get all your medical care.
