OP, don't you have anyone trustworthy that you can leave the check with with a deposit slip pre-filled and they can go into your branch next Friday and deposit it for you???? I'd do that to any of my friends.

Op, you said you can cover your bills from your savings. Just replace it when you are able to cash them post dated check. Your employer is in the right.

I'm surprised your bank doesn't let you take a pic of your check and deposit it via their mobile app. Have you looked into this, OP?

You should really sit down and figure out direct deposit. It might be a headache, but certainly better than this headache!
