I want to contact you. Come sit for my children. How do I get ahold of you?

OP, if you're unhappy, and she's only an 'as needed' sitter, then stop using her. easy.

We enlisted her for a series of days, several of which are left over the next few weeks.

You have two options then.
Option A: Keep employing her for those days, and tell her that while you respect her beliefs, you do not want her to read the Bible to your kids.
Option B: Tell her she is no longer needed.
(Option C: say nothing and make a note of it for the future)

I highly discourage option C, but I think we'd be interested in your thoughts and actions OP.

Personally, if someone brought a bible in to my home to to read it to my children, they would be fired on the spot. That crosses far too many lines for me personally. I already know this will be am issue with my MIL, but that's a battle I signed up for!

I'm a Pagan nanny that's worked for Jewish, Christian, and Hindu families. Guess what? We are all one, being judgemental and refusing to stretch your world view by working or associating with those of different faiths is warping your mind. No wonder you are so frightened. Open your mind and your heart to those different from yourself, otherwise you are not following the Christ that you worship.

+1. I'm not a christian but I'm pretty sure being as judgmental as this crazy person is will NOT get her into heaven.

I don't believe you're a troll but I do believe your ignorance is demonstrated both by your declared opinions and lack of successful spelling/self-expression. I am not religious but I know many Christians who would never suggest that children raised outside of that single faith will burn in hell...incidentally they are also very educated and articulate people (on the whole). You may want to consider taking a continuing education course on global religions, if only to sound more informed in your conversations.

+1. Even some of the strongest Christians I know would never suggest anyone would burn in he'll for not sharing their religious beliefs. Only the most ignorant who have no understanding of other beliefs are so intolerant.

I believe most will burn in hell. Very few will make it to heaven. I worry everyday that I will burn. It's why I have chosen to not have children, it's too risky. The thought of my child on fire forever is more then I could take. If you don't believe in God how do you get to heaven? The opposite is hell.

This may blow your mind but ... not only do I NOT believe in god, but I ALSO don't believe in heaven or hell. Good luck wrapping bacon around your brain while thinking through this one!

Non believers don't think they are going to burn on fire for forever. They don't believe in that stuff, it isn't that they accepted it. I'm Christian, we go to church every week, etc. I also think that Christian Nanny sounds a little off and should speak to someone.

You have no business being a nanny and taking care of children.

I don't share my beliefs with my charges. They know I am a Christian that is it. What is the harm in me taking care of them if religion isn't brought up.?

You also said you would have a problem working for a Jewish or Muslim family. That doesn't make you a good Christian. It makes you an unintelligent bigoted person. Even if you don't share your beliefs with your charges you should have nothing to do with raising children.

You have much larger issues than a fictional eternity of fire. Maybe try a therapist, I don't think your pastor is doing much good...and probably quit working with children. Your misguided view of faith is frightening.

I agree with PP, Christian Nanny. You need mental health intervention as soon as possible.

What for ? Because I fear going to hell? Doesn't everyone ? I kinda just came to the conclusion non believers were ok with being on fire forever. It scares me but I am a total wuss.
