My MB does the same to me. It's as if I have no name but am only important as a job. She is a generally thoughtless woman in many areas so I'm not surprised.

But I love the kids and feel proud that I am an excellent nanny so I let all her thoughtlessness roll off my back. I truly love being a nanny and am happy I get paid to do something that I love.

The mom of one of my son's friends does this. Honestly she kind of brags and talks about money a lot. I see this as an extension of that and her insecurity.
She gets something out of saying, "our nanny", "my nanny" etc. like she is more important because she has one. It's weird and the dad never does it.

So it isn't about you, but more about the mom not being secure in herself. I would just chime in and say "hi, my name is" after she does it.

I don't think the other mom does it on purpose per say, it just comes out that way to her.
