This is not a thread to put down MB or start fights. I am not the OP but I feel like its more of a "haha what crazy things have you been asked to do"
I love working as a nanny the last thread I started was "what do you love about your current family" but can you honestly say that all nanny jobs are great? or that it's not okay to vent a little? Sometimes it's nice to know that your not the only one who has felt taken advantage of/ who has had problems at work. Nannying is very isolating when you think about the fact that we work alone all day. We don't have co workers to compare notes with so we come on here. Probably not the best solution but hey...to each their own. No need to get so hostile.

Utterly embarrassing, but true.

We'd like to think that most nannies and mb's are intellegent, fair and thoughtful. In spite of our best hopes and wishes, however, there are some bad apples who should not be nannies, nor nanny employers.

Certainly we can all agree with that fact.

Unless the nanny doesn't get paid for the hours or employers get upset if the nanny declines, I don't see the issue with asking.

Politely asking is always welcome as long as you remember the nanny might already have other plans.


This isn't a real thread with real questions from MBs, PP. It's a thread started by nannies to mock MBs. FYI.
