They usually have so much debt in medical school loans and always low ball their nannies, trying to get the cheapest nannies out there, they are busy from like 7 am to 7 pm, their kids are most difficult since they practically do not spend any time with the parents. My worst offers were from physicians (like 2 families were offering $26 per hr for nanny share and still thought they were overpaying) Needless to say, I passed their offer though felt bad about it just out of compassion for what doctors did during pandemic. Still, I have my bills, so it was just too low.
Who are the best nanny employers?
The ones who make you feel like taking the best care of their child is the most important job in the world. My first employers were like that. They always introduced me as “Miss X” to their friends, even though I was only in my 20s. They always treated me with respect and admiration. I learned early on to value my work, and to change accordingly. Save your charity work for people who really need it.

*Speak for yourself* as the someone posted above. I have worked with Physicians before; (single family) and let me tell you something. So far, they have been the best employers ever. Very generous in all ways and paid me pretty pretty well; above what was in the market. I alwsys got very big and generous bonuses for Christmas and of course all my benefits. I worked for them 4 Full years and I was always so blessed and grateful for have them as my employers.
If you had such a bad luck with your employers; again, I will use same words that someone above wrote "Speak only for yourself".
