Six-months olds are going to drop the second nap soon, and they will be mobile soon. It's a high-needs age - just as 2-year olds are.

The only people I know who let a nanny bring her child with her were the ones who couldn't afford a nanny at regular rates. So if you're so inclined this should definitely reduce her rate further.

Also - RED FLAG. It's not like she had this five year old last week! So this has been her plan all along but she figured you might reject the idea outright if she mentioned it at first. I'd run if I were you. Next it'll be her nephew, who is only with her for a week...
