Its always fun and games to type mean comments until it is you or your child in this situation. Why can't people be constructive for once? Weird.
OP I am so glad you tested negative.I encourage you to leave that family and find yourself a family position that not only respects your health and well being but also respect their own health and that of their children.

Nannies are expected to watch out for the physical and emotional wellness of the children & families yet in this case, its clear that the same regard isn't offered to OP.

Nannies, I know often our jobs have us subconsciously voluntarily (and sometimes enticed) putting other's needs first but since March 2020, these are just NOT the times to neglect yourself. Please please put yourself and your needs first just like families put their needs first, you have the right to decide and place boundaries concerning what is best for you. A family must show that they respect you as a human being before going any further. Respect is a two way street.

In all honestly, not sure why you’re working while pregnant during COVID times in general. Too risky. Find a WFH job.

Maybe she likes a roof over head and food on the table. You are an idiot.

Nannies are in high demand. There are plenty of vaccinated families. The choices aren't work for unvaccinated people or starve.

You should be careful who you're calling an idiot.

Can any of you read? OP said that her bosses didn’t immediately disclose their unvaccinated status. She didn’t seem to know they weren’t vaccinated nor that they had COVID.

The NF totally suck and OP is right to leave, but the vaccination status question is one that should have been plainly discussed months ago.

This is the first thing you have to ask your future employers; disclosing your status about you have been vaccinated already. You have also all the right to ask them same question about their status immediately. If you would know they were not even vaccinated; immediately run away from that potential employers.

How is it still possible a professional and responsible Nanny accept a Job with parents who are not vaccinated against Covid-19?. Even worse when she knows she is pregnant. Wow. What a poor judgment of you.

You definetly need to work on your reading skills. The parents didn't disclose their vaccinations status and seeing how they treated her I am pretty sure that either ignored the subjects or pretend to being vaccinnated.

OP never asked if they were vaccinated and has stayed that her boss is like that ridiculous anti-vaccine football player who can’t shut up about refusing to be vaccinated.

Always ask. Ask for proof as you show your vaccination card.

And clearly you never should have worked in the home of unvaccinated people.

And clearly you still don't understand after almost 2 years that the vaccine isn't a cure either but rather a way to prevent the Virus to be as invasive when infected.

Clearly you have trouble with reading comprehension. Of course the vaccine prevents most serious complications and hospitalizations. But you still should not be in a home with unvaccinated people.

Clearly you aren’t well informed on the vaccine. Being vaccinated isn’t a cure it only lower the impact if infected. You will think that after almost 2 years people will be versed or well informed on the subject !!!

I totally agree with that statement!! It is really upsetting that she refused to disclose the information with you. If the role were reversed she would have fired you on the spot!
