Are you a pediatrician, PP? Our pediatrician also told us that being masked 8 to 9 hours a day as nanny would be would hamper development. What is the risk if nanny is both vaccinated and takes all precautions in her private life? Our nanny lives alone, doesn’t take public transportation and is always masked indoors except her home and our home.

Ask your child’s speech therapist in two years. I’m sure he/she can show you evidence since common sense eludes you.

She starts on Monday. Thoughts? Are you requiring your nanny to wear a mask in your home in light of delta? Why/why not?
