I do! But why would I use my vacation time for something they asked me to get ?! I would’ve waited! I don’t want to use my vacation time to lay in bed miserable

I am getting the 2nd shot soon and hopefully my boss is gonna pay me if I can’t work. Especially since they’re the ones who urged me to get it . I can’t afford to not get paid

I'm on my late 30s and already got both vaccines.
I went straight to work afterwards.

I just got the first one this weekend and totally fine. My next one is around the Easter holiday and I won’t be working during that time so it works out perfect

I'm an MB, got my first dose last week and I definitely could not have been chasing after toddlers the next day. I'm 40, fwiw. I'm going to take 1-2 days off after the second dose.
I'd be fine with giving a nanny 1-2 days off for the first dose, and 2-3 days off for the second dose, on top of existing sick leave; however, my DH has a flexible job, which makes it possible for us to arrange for something like that.
Taking a few days off if you don't feel well is not only reasonable, it may be necessary.

Did you have any side effects from the first shot? You’re the first young person I’ve heard of who had no reaction.
No, aside from a sore arm for a daylight both. And I guess if I was analyzing, a bit tired from the second.
