Thanks! That’s what I previously charged in a former position. If I charged that it would be $250/night. I quoted 150/night which would be 300$ For 2 nights. Side note:one of the boys is special needs and never sleeps through the night. So no telling how much/little sleep I’ll get.
OP I think $150 is well justified given that one of the children is special needs. I would charge that if I was sleeping at their house.
In your case, given that you are staying in the comfort of your own home... I’d probably say it could be reasonable to go down a little ($125) but then again your rate is your rate and you should charge what you are worth and if they dont want to pay you they can always stay home and cancel their plans and take care of their own darn children overnight!
