You are on time. Perfect time if you just started this new Job, quit. No resentments at all. It's a really bad idea to stay in this position if you don't feel conmofable and happy about everything.

You don’t have to be totally forthcoming about your reasons if you feel weird about it. Just say “I’m so sorry but unfortunately I need to give you my two-weeks notice. Looking after Larla and Larlo has been great, but personal circumstances have arisen that do not allow me to continue in this position. I understand that this puts you in an unfortunate position of needing to find a replacement so I can stay on for two more weeks if you would like, but my last day will need to be Sept. XX.”
