The job was for 11:00 to 5:00. Six hours. If they come home earlier she should still get paid the six hours.

I agree w/the above posters that the first family is rude, inconsiderate + cheap.

It was rude of them to cancel last minute due to what you told them.

Stick to your guns OP & do not let this family discourage you for doing so!
