And I didn’t say I “relied” on it. It’s just the money I prefer to use and most of my OT is guaranteed but just not direct deposit.

I’m the op and let me tell you something about your ignorance and this stupid judgement call you just made. First of all Im in a great place financially and the money that I make and have DD to my account goes towards my bills that have automatic payment set up and another percentage transfers automatically to my savings. When I agree to work extra hours or babysit that money THAT I HAVE EARNED is then used as entertainment, grocery and gas. The gas and groceries are usually purchased on my way home Friday evenings and I shouldn’t have to check and move anything around from my own system that I’ve had in place at the last minute because she is “overwhelmed” doing the same thing I’ve had to do 9-11 hours all day. My main funds are not for entertainment and miscellaneous activities my overtime is. So watch it.
So you rely upon OT to pay for gas and groceries? What happens when you don’t have any OT?
I have other money, but the debit account she deposits to is readily available and where I keep my miscellaneous funds. I use this card all weekend.

Not the issue. OP should never have to remind her employer to pay her or wait one second beyond the agreed upon time. If Friday, for example, is payday then you are paid before you leave work at the end of your day on Friday. No exceptions and no excuses.
But you’re right about OP needing to drop the judgement on the mother. That is not her job or purview.
But if OP is turning in her time sheet at 5pm, then she may need to wait 24 hours for them to verify the hours and transfer the money. For me, the bigger issue would be working so many hours that are not part of my guaranteed hours. Maybe the easiest solution would be to have the 10 hours that are always worked to be added to her guaranteed hours and direct deposit, then OP can tally additional hours and not be so worried about the pay coming in immediately. Your budget should not consist of non-guaranteed OT, what if you don’t work any OT that week?

I agree. You need to manage your finances better if you are that desperate for money on a Friday morning.
I said nothing about the morning and it has shit to do with being desperate. I leave work in the evenings when I’m starting my weekend and it’s MY money. All that matters is she should prioritize paying the woman tasing her kids all day and it only takes her 25 seconds to open the apps and send it.

Bully for you. If my paycheck was late I would tell my boss that if it was ever late again that Iwill report to Wage and labor board and thay I will quit on the spot. I don't live from paycheck to paycheck either but a lot of people do. However, that doesn't matter. You work and you get paid ON TIME.

People get busy. They have jobs, kids, their own lives. Its very easy to forget. Send her a reminder the night before documenting the hours work and the total amount. Simple. Many professionals submit a timesheet. Be a "professional" instead of a child having a temper tantrum. Friday ends at midnight, not the end of the work day.

Yes, mine has. We have to do a time sheet and submit it. If she doesn't sign it and submit it, we don't get paid.
OP can send an email or text on thursday stating the hours worked and pay amount.
