I think most people letting nannies go have kids on the older side. I work outside the home so needed a nanny to do pick-up and she helped during days off and days the kids were sick. Now I’m working for the entire school year and we don’t need a nanny anymore. I’m not sad or screwed that we made the decision. People naturally get to a point where they don’t need full time help because kids grow up.

I'm looking for a good nanny. FTM due in May. If she's available I'd be happy to hear from her at itemere@gmail.com. Thank you.

Who pays a nanny when kids are in school all day? Some people can afford to buy 5 cars but don't because they don't NEED them.

I worked for a family over 8 years and love the children like my own. I took care the children during sick, diarrhea, ear infection, vomit, colic, refused to take bottles and kept in my home when mom had to travel for work. They just left for vacation without a thank you note. I was fine until my nanny friends asked me if the family did anything nice for me. I know I was just a nanny but my family and friends know how much I cared and helped them and they didn’t even give me a thank you card. Parents also know that I love and care about their children and that’s why I was with them for that many years. Children will start full day school so they don’t need me .
