Probably depends where from: our last au pair hated CF. Some countries eat a lot healthier than we do...

I don't believe the person that said that the APs don't want to eat American when they get to the US. I'm sure they want to enjoy the experience from the get go.

NP. You sound like Trump asking people to go back to where they came from because they dare to say something is not so great here. An au pair (or anyone) being here doesn't mean they love everything about the U.S. Lot of things here are great but lot of things are also not so great and it is ok to be able to said that!
