You realize that she could only sue if what was the AP was saying is untrue? She can't sue her AP for stating the truth about her experience and warning other Au Pairs about this family for not respecting the contract or whatever they initially advertise.

Should host family get sued too when they don't recommend an AP and talk about their experience?

I've been recruiting for an extension year au pair and a few of the candidates have said some things that suggest they are reading criticism of us.

I'd prefer not to go into the details of what they have said.

Suggestions for where to look?


You probably max out her hours, kill her weekends, give her curfews on the weekends. You're most likely an asshole and you are too strict. Trust me. I've heard it all and they usually all have the same complaints. Instead of looking to change peoples minds with words, try doing it with your actions.
