Exactly my point! A babysitter "watches children" (was the way a PP described the job) for $18 -- which basically means watching tv . A nanny on the other hand will (help) raise your children, for a minimum of $25.

Which can you afford, employers? Be honest *with yourselves.*

Exactly. A professional nanny would not be doing tv at all.

Look parents, just be honest about what you are able or willing to pay a nanny and be aware of your state labor laws. Don’t contact a nanny that you know you can’t afford. This is not difficult.

Are you ok? There are parents that would pay $22 for one child. This nanny share wants to pay less than $18 for two children, with no overtime, No one with 10 plus years will take that. They should just pay cash.
