I was ghosted so many times this year, and the ones that I did have ongoing contact with were so awful. The headquarters absolutely was unresponsive and gave us lip service, and basically suggested I do all the things I was doing anyway. I found a great au pair through APIA.
Could you please describe the matching process? Any improvement in the candidates pool? The sentiment has been that in the last few years, APIA has had substantially smaller number of candidates than CC.
The APIA pool was much smaller, that is correct. However, I found the LCC at APIA to be much more proactive, and the candidates to be more responsive to me. I can only speak based on my own experiences---and this year, who knows what will happen.
YMMV.
My APIA LCC was simply awful and unhelpful and the pool is tiny.
