Subject: Bropair popularity
We haven't had a problem matching with 3 bro-pairs in a row using CCAP. We usually match in the Jan/Feb time frame for a summer arrival and don't have any problems getting connections, skype interviews or such.
That said, we aren't too picky about age range. All of our bropairs so far have been under-21, maybe if you care about having an older bropair it might be harder.

I have no idea what it is hard to match for you...we have solid male candidates changing arrival targets by 2 months. We connect and release them after first skype. Our 6 connections are full all the time.
We live in close in DC suburb, .5 mile walk to metro; 4 metro stops to DC. 4 miles by car/bike. AP has own car; we have boys who play sports, AP goes on skiing and summer vacations in FL/CO. Standard pay, standard room w/ private bath. All our APs (male and female) are references for them to contact.
Maybe your profile is jacked up or something. It is not that hard to connect or match.
Uh, I'm in the upper west side. I can assure you that we have APs willing to give their left arm to match with us. Doesn't change the fact that bropairs are very very desirable. The problem is many of them have full connections. I've had to resort to underhanded tactics and steal APs out from under people like yourself. Going on the FB groups, identifying one, interviewing off the site, and getting them to dump connections of existing matches and then matching once they are released. I'd call that a tight market. Have never once had to do that with a female AP.

There are more available but those of that have male APs are also learning that there are down sides....particularly the whole friends over/opposite sex issue.

As other posters said - they are still in very high demand. After you get your first one I think it is easier to match with them. They are actually easier than female APs once you know how to present yourself/structure your profile.
Our male APs actually have the most baby sitting requests out of any of our APs (4 prior females).

We have boys so we want someone sporty. Not all male APs are into sports, or play sports. We want solid English speakers, so that usually limits is to Northern EU. We want someone outgoing at interview, someone with a personality (many of the men seem timid and nervous). Our last AP was Swedish, his English was perfect and he was ona. Pro hockey track and even attended a special hockey school in high school. He did go semiprofessional for a year and then tore his ACL and decided to go to college. We had him at age 21 the year before he went to college. He played non stop sports with my boys and I cannot even begin to tell you what a gift that was for them.
Our package is that the 200/wk is considered by us a minimum, gym membership, ~10 days off xmas, 1 week Spring Break, 1 week off Thanksgiving, 2 weeks summer off, and all federal holidays off. Optional travel for skiing in Utah and optional travel to CA in summer for our family vacation, dedicated car, all personal gas paid (resonates huge with EU candidates). Full basement suite, 2 school aged kids.
We are very upfront about the perks because these men have a lot of choices and when I want a candidate, I make sure I get it.

huh? Why would a Bropair write this? I'm the one hosting male APs and I can assure you, none of them would be interested in the petty bickering of DCUM, that is the one of the wonderful things about male AU Pairs. Low drama.
