$1 an hour in SF is really a slap in the face.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

Seems like nanny has been with you'll for two years. And she is still making $20??? And now you would like to add another baby. Clearly she is doing a great job for you to want to keep her. But it's really unfair that she still makes $20. I would give her a raise of $4. And to be honest you are in NW, we are in Silver Spring, our nanny makes $25 for two children. Been with us for two years. There is a lot of parents out there, like myself that would pay very well for a wonderful nanny.

I make $22 with 2 kids and I don’t cook, no laundry, no emptying/loading the dishwasher and no cleaning beyond after the kids.

Agreed that $4-$5 is better. Otherwise nanny might be able to find a new job for $2 more with just one kiddo, which is easier.

Which is more than reasonable.

For San Francisco, $1/Hr. raise is definitely a joke.
It is one of the most expensive places in the United States to live!

It's been five years. I'm really not.
