Mashed avocado - goes for guacamole in my household
Frozen green peas
Home made turkey dumplings : like at a Japanese restaurant: ground turkey, a little soy sauce, Finely chopped scallions. Use a dumpling wrapper. I freeze and then steam or fry.
Grilled cheese: we use challah bread, mix sliced cheese and shredded Mexican mix.

Great ideas, thank you!! I currently make homemade potstickers/dumplings but only once every few months because it’s so time consuming. It takes me hours but the kids help and I freeze them to have for later. Love the fritters idea! Just won’t tell them it’s zucchini haha

I want to discover new recipes and cook new food they maybe haven’t tried yet. It’s not about them being spoiled and not eating, I like to cook and I’m happy to try new recipes to find things they love. I was a picky eater growing up and now I eat lots of different things but stuff refuse to eat mushrooms!
This isn't about you and your needs. You are paid to do a job which is to feed kids, not do a personal crusade. This isn't about developing countries. Kids don't want to try new things and recipes. You aren't that picky of an eater if you don't have any basic understanding of it. If you choose not to feed my kids and told them things like they are spoiled for not eating, I'd fire you instantly. That's abusive, and partially neglectful. Cook for yourself on your own time, not at your job when others may not enjoy it like you do. You sound spoiled and selfish.
