As I mentioned, I am overweight myself but do Orange Theory 3x per week and regularly jog 4-5 miles, do yoga, and generally get about 15,000 steps per day. I also don't eat constant junk food and basically watch about 2 hours of TV per week so I certainly don't think overweight people are lazy gluttons in general! We also aren't "disgusting". I think I will just ask more questions about her favorite foods and activities.

We’ve had chubby au pairs and thin au pairs and there was no correlation to physical activity. But every family is different. If you have a child that likes to run out into the street, Make sure you host an au pair who can keep up and move quickly.
