+1. If it happened regularly we would talk about it but as another poster said at a job of you make a mistake the company doesn’t bill you. Just admit it. If your MB or DB overreacts you can learn and will have dodged a bullet but that is very unlikely to be the outcome.

I too am terrible at cooking for others, doing their laundry, teaching their kids so I don't do it.
