If you’re younger, (20’s/30’s) it will be easier than if you’re older. If you’re worried, I’d ask for Monday off. More important to make sure you eat very soft foods (baby food, mashed potatoes, etc) and clean out where your teeth were frequently with a water pic or syringe of water.
Op here. I’m 23. However, I’m very intolerant with pain. I think just to be safe I’ll ask for Monday off as well. Just to be safe. I agree that I won’t need a week. I do plan to ask the dentist what time of food I can eat so I don’t irritate the cuts. Thank you all
I was the pp who posted early about feeling a little better at day 3. I was 22 when I got my wisdom teeth removed (4) and my surgery was on a Friday and I went back to work on Tuesday (half day). I think I took a week to 7 days total off for my tonsillectomy and that recovery is much longer- so people saying a week are definetly being dramatic
Soft foods are your only options and STAY AWAY FROM COLD FOODS! As long as you take your meds around the clock, rest and do exactly what the doctor says, you should be fine by Tuesday. Good luck with your surgery.
