Depending on the kids, sometimes I prefer tandem, sometimes side by side. Talk to your nanny, see what she likes/recommends.

MB here. We have the Joovy and like it for our nanny share. I have used it and it's relatively easy to steer, fits through normal doorways, and the kids seem comfortable. I'd recommend it.

We had the Bugaboo donkey for our main stroller and the Cybex Twinyx for the collapsible umbrella stroller (it's a side-by-side). It's German made and very sturdy and we loved it. I'm actually selling it if you're interested (not why I mentioned it, it is a good stroller). I sold our Bugaboo to someone through DCUM and didn't get in trouble, so if you're interested, the email I set up for that is bugabooforsale2017@gmail.com

City Mini GT used is the way to go. If you can't get that, the Britax double that is essentially a copy of the GT is serviceable enough.

Above twin nanny here. I despise tandem strollers! I’ve used them and I hate them. They have a purpose, but it is limited. A quality side-by-side is by far the way to go!

Yup, this is OP. We have the city mini GT for ourselves and love it. Good suggestion about asking our nanny to discuss with her nanny friends or see if she likes the way certain ones fold feel while she's out at the park with her group. It may just be the case that our share's city mini was too well loved when purchased.
