I think the problem here is you.
+1
Other nannies probably don’t want to hang around you because of your “I’m better than you, I have a Master’s degree” mentality.

I find I don’t have much in common with other nannies and I feel isolated. Any other nannies with Madter’s degrees? Is it just a rarity to have a highly educated nanny?

Yes. I have a masters in ECD and I have never met another. I am in Los Angeles. However, more and more, I am meeting nannies with college degrees is education.
Oh honey. The problem is definitely you. I'm in LA and have a masters, and so do three of my nanny friends. Almost all the nannies I know have at least a bachelors degree. Homeschooling isolates you a bit, but the rest is all you. Coldwater canyon park is full of nannies- you can't find some friends there? Music classes, sports, library, there's so many ways to meet nannies in LA. I actually find more nannies here are educated when you're with HP/HNW families. Soooo. It's you. Maybe get off your high horse and people will want to be your friend.
How can the problem be me? I am not repelling the MA nannies on sight. I simply have never met another with an MA and I work for a new high income/high profile family in Brentwood. And I did not complain about not having friends or not liking other nannies - I simply have never met another with an masters.
I am surprised you have a graduate degree with your reading comprehension issues. I have bolded my post. All I wrote is that I have never met another nanny with a masters.

I felt like you once. I worked hard to get my Masters in SW and made nothing. I had to apply for food stamps because I was making $11 an hour for 50-60 hours a week.
I started nannying and made twice that with better benefits. But no one would guess I’m as educated as most of my employers. Nannying are seen as low-skill and low-educated field. While, that’s not actually true that’s the way the white collar workers view it.
You have to get use to being spoken down to, and assumed dumb. Also realize that the nanny down the street with the GED. You aren’t necessarily smarter. She’s making as much as you without the student debt.
Not OP, but I do command a much higher wage because of my degree. If you don't, PP, you should look for a new job. Even a college degree in any major will command a higher rate.
A higher rate than YOU would have earned without it. If the GED nanny down the block has a decade of full time nanny experience with glowing references and dozens of relevant classes and certifications, she will often be worth just as much as the newcomer who spent the last decade taking classes, even if the classes are child-related. So yes, some of us poor rubes are making just as much as you are.
Not in my world. The degree gets you more than someone with 40 years nannying experience. And a nanny with an advanced degree and/or preschool teaching experience tops the market.
Your world is very limited.

AND and education.
And $40,000 in student loan debt.
You can have an education without a degree. A bachelors doesn’t mean much anymore because most people have them.
