I think it’s odd she bought the pants with her own money instead of letting me know she forgot an extra pair and asking if she can use the nanny CC. That’s why she has the CC, for cases like this. It’s almost like she didn’t want me to know she forgot.

She changed DD and stopped by an Outlet Carter’s and bought DD a new pair of pants. Nanny never mentioned this to me and it was only confirmed after I noticed a new pair of pants and checked our nanny CC and saw there were no charges. When I confronted her she seemed pretty dismissive. I find this odd.
Troll. You can tell by the nondescript thread title.
Nice try!
Dumb question, new to dcum; can someone explain the whole calling out a “troll”? Meaning the post is fake? What would be the point of someone making up a fake scenario ....

Well considering how your acting now, she probably thought you would freak out on her for forgetting extra clothes. Quick thinking on her part. I hope you told her it was “okay” and reimbursed her!
Yeah, the fact you're using the word 'confront' tells me your nanny wasn't comfortable telling you this. Why that is only you can know!
+1. I'm guessing she knows you well enough to know the permission to use the card would have come with an admonition to do a better job of checking the diaper bag.
It was worth $5 to her not to get the lecture.
