Very funny. However, I learned very early arriving in this country that the people here express themselves very freely. And they don't care what they say or whom ears personal information is subjected to.

I did a nanny share with a boy and girl. The girl was about one and the boy around two and a half, but extremely articulate. He looks at the girl when I changed her diaper and said she doesn’t have a toocus! (His word for penis.) She has a not toocus! I explained boys have a penis and girl don’t and he proceeded to tell me that his mom has a toocus and it has moss growing on it!

I hear about parents drinking, yelling, making siblings cry, and hitting the kids. Guess what? I know it’s all exaggeration. I live with them, so when a child is crying and a sibling tells me it’s because the parent hit the child, I already heard the whole thing, and I know the crying child was removed to their room for misbehaving. Kids want sympathy, they want to feel like they’re important, and once in a blue moon they want to band together against all adults to try and get their way. Oh, and they can’t keep secrets for anything!

Op is not being nosey. She asked for similar experiences and stories and said nothing about talking to the parents about it. Can you read?
