(I'm a straight woman). Our current nanny is pretty but kind of heavy and not at all my husband's type. Some of our current candidates are his type (i.e. they're basically younger, sometimes prettier versions of myself). While I'm not one to test fate and I can get jealous, I guess I'm assuming that whoever we choose will be mature enough to not make a pass at my husband. Plus I don't think my husband is dumb enough to think about cheating, especially with the nanny. So we might very well end up with a very attractive nanny and I don't think it will be an issue. Plus, we're moving to the beach, so I figure our future neighbors can thank me.
You wouldn’t be the first wife to make this mistake. Don’t hire a younger version of his type to be in your household for 45+ hours.

It is just always best to exercise good judgment in general, and good judgment = Using good common sense.
Even if you 100% trust your husband & are secure in your marriage to him, why invite trouble on purpose??!
Everyone just KNOWS that men are visual creatures and a pretty girl thrown into the picture just will not bode well for the wife no matter what.
Why deliberately go searching for trouble??
Just my two cents here.
So all women are incapable of acting appropriately when they are menstruating, because they are ruled by hormones? And nobody should expect them to even try?
Not all nannies want to bang your husband. I’ve been hit on by a former boss. Never did I want to sleep with any of them. Some of you women are idiots. Not every pretty nanny wants to bang your husband. I don’t think being pretty has anything to do with it. Look at Arnold Schwartznagger? Most men who heat will cheat with anyone. Either you married someone faithful or not. You don’t need a nanny for your husband to decide he wants to cheat. He will get that from other places.
Looking is one thing. Men are first attracted visually, but they are quite capable of making a choice. Not only are they capable of doing it once, they can have the same choice multiple times per day everyday for years and not cheat. Cheaters are the aberration, not men who don't cheat.

Two even gorgeous (cat call on the street while pushing the stroller or attempted pick ups while shopping with the kids gorgeous). Never gave it a thought re DH + nanny and it was a non-issue all those years. I guess you need to know your situation and act accordingly. I trust my husband and I definitely trusted the nannies.
