Pp here, as a nanny myself I say things to other kids all the time when they are misbehaving or being too rough. I guess my confidence comes from my teaching background & dealing with many different types of kids and caregivers. Never occurs to me not to.

I don’t mind saying anything or care how they will take it if I know I am right.

I responded earlier in this thread but now looking back over it I’m with the other poster that mentioned you’re trying to insinuate something here. I mean this isn’t really a vent since it was a one time thing and you even had a rapport with the nannies established when you spoke with them earlier yet you couldn’t politely ask them to intervene with their larger kids

What is the point of this entire thread really?

1 time I saw big kids taking away the blocks my charge was playing with other kids. It's fine, my older charge learned how rude it to be like that since she is a little bratty sometimes. That taught her that is more fun to share with your friends and see you n all happy. Dont be like him lol.

Or those big boys are just a 1 time big since they're 5yo, they go to school. And like any babysitter she can't do much to change a child mind. But if safety is being threaten then the adult caregiver should step in. Sorry you had a bad day Op.

And yes there's good and bad parents and nannies of course. Just I wished most parents wouldn't be afraid to dicipline thier kids. It's good for both of them.
