If you don't want pee or poop on the floor, invest in plastic shower curtains. They can go on the floor just before he gets there, you can easily clean up any messes, and then they can be folded away until the next week. Ask the mom to bring cream next time, and at least 6 plain white onesies. There's no reason a two-year-old can't wear a onesie on the patio or in the house, just put a shower curtain down over the brick, and clean him up when he pees or poops.

11:56 here. My daughter is newly potty trained, our floors are wood (and very nice, too) and I have no problem cleaning her pee and poop off of the floor. I don't know why you're making such a big deal out of wood floors.

My daughter was very quick to get diaper rash, all it took was for one caregiver to leave the diaper on a little too long. OP, I don't see anything wrong with the mom asking you to do what you suggested to her. I also don't understand how you can be a caregiver if you are not willing to get pee/poo on your floor?? Setting aside naked time, lots of potty trained toddlers/little kids have accidents, which will result in pee and poop on your floor.

Read again, I am faulting both OP and the child's mother for being bad caregivers. Her poor written English is hardly a factor, nice try though.

People asked me why I am not comfortable with a naked boy in my house - so i gave them my answer. I dont have training pants, my floor is wood floor, my small patio facing the pool, hygiene etc.

As for change the boy diapers I dont have any prob with it.

If mom doesn't bring in the cream tell her you won't watch her kid. Period.

I asked the mom what happened the past 8 days. She said the rashes was gone in the weekends but came back when the boy go to the daycare. She said daycare took the kids to the park twice a day. Morning 8 to 10 am and evening from 4 pm to 6 pm. There (at the park) they didn't/will not change his diapers.

I have a small area (patio) but the location is not safe for the boy (if he is naked). My patio is facing the community swimming pool.
