The family already knows that I'm pregnant, I haven't told told them that I wouldn't be returning. Five weeks notice is enough for them to find another nanny.

At some point, probably before 35 weeks, they are going to bring it up.

For other positions I would think that you may be let go immediately but not with this situation. I'm sure this family doesn't have another nanny in their back pocket to take over for you right away and they clearly need child care. That being said, do you know of other care they may have? Do both parents work? Are there grandparents local? How long have you been with them? If you have been with them a bit I would think that they would still trust you with their children after you gave notice.
