Everyone in every industry eventually has to deal with this. You start out as the young intern, or the young "hot-shot," and then gradually you realize that some of your bosses are your age, and then that you're actually older than some of the new folks. If you work for a big company, unless you're the CEO yourself, but the time you're in your 40s there will be people younger than you in supervisory roles.
Wait until your doctor is younger than you!
You get used to it pretty quickly, though.
