How often do you complain about your MB?

This is the MB who wrote the original example. If I am home sick, or working upstairs, or doing household errands, or worked until 12 midnight with the CHina team and play to go in at noon, or I'm back from a trip from India at 3pm, it has no bearing on my nanny's 8am --5pm job caring for my children. She needs to continue working until 5pm unless I tell her to go home and relax. And yes, we pay her if we happen to be in our own house.

And no, we did not keep her for long; her attitude problem continued to rear its head until we reached a saturation point and let her go.

To the MBs who have justified complaints about their nannies, are these former nannies that you eventually got rid of because you couldn't take it anymore or do you suck it up because it's hard finding a really good nanny? Our former and current nannies both had serious issues worth firing over, but after having let go of nanny #1, I am loathe to do so with nanny #2 because I doubt whether her replacement will be any better. I know there are excellent nannies out there, but most of the ones I've come across through interviews and trials have some problem or another. I'm wondering if I need to just suck it up and stick it out with our current nanny as much as it pains me.

Of course. Maybe I misunderstood but I read it as MB saying nanny shouldn't be paid for the full time despite it being her decision to come home early.

I think the point is that she should still be working even if the PP arrived home early. She said the nanny thought she should be able to leave or take a nap.
