I apologized to her and send her few pictures. Also a video that I capture right before the baby went home. A video how I potty train her baby (as per her request). NONE showing any swollen, red marks or any bruises on his forehead.
She thanks me and said "maybe her son bumped his head inside the crib at night"
I was so offended with this! For me why took her 26 hours to asked me? If the accident was at my house she can see the bruise around 6 pm or 7 pm or 8 pm on Monday evening.

And babies have different cries. If nanny has been with OP's kid for a while, she should know his different cries. I was never good at distinguishing DC's cry, but the cry of pain was VERY distinctive.
