Anonymous wrote:We a fired a new nanny for cause last week. She was with us 3 weeks and missed 8 days for being sick and and a family emergency. We liked her and she was great with our child but we feared reliability issues. She also called out last minute and was late most of the days she did work. She then threatened us with small claims court because we took a day of not getting back to her about her paycheck. She emailed us apologizing and asking for a second chance. We do like her and haven't been able to find a suitable replacement. Would you rehire or keep looking?

No way. stop the madness.

Didn't this op post about the good nanny they hired that got very ill and they wanted to fire her for something she had no control over and she even offered to come to work while sick?

OP - I don't believe you.

You'd be a fool to hire her back, and your last response smacks of troll.

Well you're just an idiot...

Most nannies are good with kids, that's kind of the whole point. Responsible adult nannies offer much more than being good with kids, but they also charge more than a college sitter.

What are you talking about? You sound like the idiot since you are speaking out of your butt before knowing what I paid her.
