So just fyi, speech delay in bilingual children has been debunked. This is not to say that your 10 month old child is in any way delayed.
http://www.hanen.org/Helpful-Info/Articles/Bilingualism-in-Young-Children--Separating-Fact-fr.aspx

It is recommended that the language carrier that is fluent in the language only speak that language to the child. So if your English is not fluent, speak in Chinese etc. it is much better for the child to learn proper language from a fluent source.

Some language development milestones:

I realize your MB has issues but prose don't quote random people on the Internet to her. It's just as bad. Look up reputable sources and go from there. Good luck.

OP here,

I texted the the mom (she not in town) that I discuss this issue with my nanny group. I told her one of you (poster 21.01) wrote this:- .

"First of all, at ten months, some babies speak words and some do not. He is not behind if he does not.

Second, if there is more than one language spoken in the home, children often begin to speak later because they are learning two sets of sounds."

Find a list of developmental goals online to give her, and also look up the two language thing"

She texted me back saying " Ok. Thanks! I feel better now" and she asked me "how is my day"

Thank you very much poster 20.01!

Nanny here: All babies develop language skills in their own time and not one are the same. Strategies to teach language skills is singing, talking and reading to the baby. He will grasp the concept on he's own time. Also, having babies to participate in singalong and social activities are great sources for exposing children to language.

Stop comparing children they all develop on different time and stages.

If you are not willing to respect her parenting choices then you need to find another job.

Your attitude is unprofessional.

Oh like asking me to do the Russian Yoga with her baby? http://www.dcurbanmom.com/nanny-forum/posts/list/325123.page#3198112 not to mention that she screw up her baby's schedule all the time!

Btw, I did gave her my resignation letter. Twice this year but after we had a long talk - I stay.

OP: you're clearly not happy in your job. Why do you keep going back to them?!? Just quit and stay away for good! Sheesh

Seriously.

OP, leave if you don't like it. Or stay if it's a good enough job. But staying in the job and just continuing to whine and complain really just reflects badly on you. The child deserves better and you're wasting our time.
