I live in Dallas and a standard rate for a nanny is $15/hr. This includes light housework and childcare. Once in awhile I'll hear of $18/hr but that's rare, most of the time it's $15.

Another LA nanny here and I make $37/ hr. I was given a raise at my 1 year anniversary (it was 34/hr. I started at 32, but they bumped it at my 6 month review).
