I have seat covers on my seats. Protects from dirty feet. I also have rubber mats.
This is not a hard problem to solve.
Jesus, aren't you a judgmental peach.

Eek.
Not to be snarky OP, but I cannot disagree on this.
Your post was difficult at best to read through.
I've read far more difficult-to-read posts presumably from white/american moms who can't be bothered to spell check and/or pay attention to autocorrect.
I got exactly what OP's post was trying to get across, perhaps you guys need to work on reading comprehension/context?

You are mad because you you create bad boundaries about your charges eating in your car and your employer compensates you above the standard rate? Grow up. It is perfectly reasonable for your employers to ask you to use your car if they are providing adequate compensation.
You forgot the muddy shoes and snow boots, my friend. Normal wear and tear doesn't begin to cover sloppy kids in and out of your car every day.
If it's that much of a problem, do what I did growing up. Either
1. Put towels on floor and then launder them
2. Sit in car with feet hanging out. Change shoes. Put dirty shoes in bag.

How old were you when you did all that?
As long as I can remember in my mom's car. We could also only have water when we were really little and graduated to foods when we were older and could be trusted not to make a mess.
The shoes thing went all the way through high school and sports.
I have a 3.5 year old now. I'm a little more lenient but I do usually take his muddy shoes off when he gets in the car because he kicks his legs and it gets messy. And unless we are going on a long car ride, there isn't much need for anything more than water.
