That would be awesome.
Something that always bothered me about Care.com & Sittercity.com is that ANYONE w/access to a computer and the Internet can post a free profile thus labeling themselves a "Professional" Nanny.
I think there should be some form of checks + balances involved here.
To think that parents are more than willing to pay for this makes no sense.
I have never understood the logic here.

Legal wage is different in different states, for different ages, for different job types.... There's no way for care to police that.
Right now, I believe the lowest wage you can inducate is $5-10/hr - which is totally legal to pay a minor for their first sitting job.
Now, is it annoying that care is filled with low paying, low quality jobs? Sure! It's also annoying it's filled with barely qualified sitters. The good jobs and great nannies are in there.... You just have to do the work.
Come off it. High school kids don't use care. But even THEY earn minimum wage, usually $10-15/hr here.
Care.com has a specific process for 14-17 year olds to use the site. And you may not consider it market rate, but the fact remains as low as $4.75/he is often legal wage for these sitters.
