Get it together, OP.

I am the nanny. With previous families I have done all this plus weekly grocery shopping and making family dinner a few noghts per week.

Me too, and at every stage -- when they were 1 yo, 2yo, 3 & 1yo, 4 & 2 yo, as well as with elementary age.

Sorry, hit enter too soon. My point is that cleaning up after the children, preparing their food, and keeping the places in the house that they regularly use neat is pretty much standard nanny operating procedure. If you can't manage to vacuum at least once a week, that I'm seriously concerned about why you need so many breaks and what you were going to do if one of the kids is sick or teething and does not nap.

Our nanny manages that and more OP.
What's your real issue? Are you just bad at receiving feedback?

You don't have twins.

Neither does OP. What's your point?

Many nannies consider this to be par for the course. PP isn't doing anything outrageous. Certainly not something only a mother would do...

No, two loads of laundry is not a lot.
Yes, you should vacuum, it takes 5 minutes. I do it EVERY DAY.

You are lazy.

Totally agree.

Also agree.

What happens to OP when the kids outgrow their naps?
Will you just bounce to another baby that needs 2-3 naps a day so you can too?

Moral dilemma.
Can you imagine the mess a lazy nanny would leave each day for a housekeeper to pick up after? And what kind of habits are you teaching the kids?!? You need two paid adults following you around, one of whom also is a pig!

Sounds much like the mess some nannies find every morning, except there's no housekeeper to take care of it.

Now, who has more influence over the children?
The parents or the nanny?

Btw, what do you do OP during the morning baby nap and the afternoon nap?
