The state psus unemployment. The employer pays into UE insurance to s. If you have a contract that says you get a month's notice then you should be paid for the month. You will not be able to draw unememployment until end of notice period.
You are so wrong. They were supposed to give, and pay, a month's notice but only gave, and paid, a week's notice
She does not have to wait a month. She only has to wait a week.

FYI unemployment for a $40k or $50k/year job is approx. $250 a week. Don't think it's even close to your fully weekly or month figure, it is not. for anybody.
