Please do not expect a nanny to deal with your dirty laundry.

No. Of course it is not okay to ask your child's nanny to do your laundry, Loser.

I'm still thinking about the nanny doing your husband. Is there an extra charge for those services, or are they included in her regular pay?

I wouldn't mind shopping so long as you tell me exactly what you want...are you brand specific about somethings and not others? Note that. Do you want organic for some things and not others? I need to know exactly what you want. And don't ask me to plan your menus, that never ends well for any of us. BTDT, won't do it again.

In short, just talk to her about what you need, what you want (not always the same thing as needs) and see what you can mutually agree upon.

Same here. I do kids laundry and bedding but have no interest in your dirty underwear, that's what housekeepers are for. I do not mind grocery shopping and other assistant type errands.

This.

Best answer! Lol. You can ask whatever you want. And your nanny can call you a lazy slob.

Exactly.

Nannies are laundresses ONLY for children. If you want this then YOU PAY the going rate for a main areas and for a professional shopper, not nanny wages.

It is truly disgusting to ask her to do your dirty laundry that is reeking of your bodily functions.

I disagree. Nannies are caregivers period.

They do not do laundry at all unless they are Nanny/Laundresses.

I have cared for children the past seven years and have NEVER been required to wash/dry/fold and put away any clothes, towels or linens.

Sure, nothing can stop you from asking her, but those are not typical "Nanny" duties.

Can you just hire a laundress or take your laundry to a "fluff + fold" service?

Re: Shopping for groceries, only if she doesn't have to bring any kids along.

You couldn't pay me enough to take small kids to the market!!!!!
