My family and friends pays me a flat$150 for ON. But my charge also wakes at 5am though and I usually wouldn't get there until 8am.

Do you want to sleep over? If you find it more convenient that's great but since they don't really need you to I wouldn't charge for it.

Exactly. Agree 100%. You pay OT rates for OT hours worked/on call.

Our nanny does occasional sitting in the evenings and weekends and those hours just get added in, so in this case if it were me I'd be adding 6 hours to her total worked that week and pay OT for each hour over 40.

Do you want to sleep over? If you find it more convenient that's great but since they don't really need you to I wouldn't charge for it.
