I worked with several 2 year olds, and all of them have wanted more interaction than I would have been able to provide if I had also had an infant charge. I've worked with a few families who had a young toddler or older infant as well as an older toddler or preschooler, and I'm quite thankful that the older child was not used to the constant ever-changing stimulation that daycare provides. I love working with multiple kids (just one charge would bore me), but smart nannies know what they can do and what they can't. If the second child was older, having the toddler come out of daycare would be easy. But a newborn doesn't have a schedule.
